St John's Church

Songs of Praise    - The Open Air "Songs of Praise" Service on Sunday 25th June at Kemback was enjoyed on the green during a beautiful summer evening. The service was led by Rev Eric McKimmon as this was part of the anniversary celebrations for Ceres, Kemback and Springfield (and for this year replaces the Songs Of Praise service at the Bandstand). Favourite hymns were chosen and introduced by members of the congregation, and music was provided Lewis Thomson on keyboard and Elspeth Smith on violin.

The Annual Churches Afternoon Walk also in June at Kemback was enjoyed by those who were able to come along (ie with no Father's Day commitments!). Despite the lack of sunshine and just a little drizzle, the group from St John's, Dairsie, Cupar Old and Ceres, Kemback and Springfield enjoyed a pleasant ramble through the woods, and a cup of tea afterwoods at Dairsie church hall. Thanks to all who took part and to those who provided the tea!
